Known for her "hook-drenched, danceable, optimistic pop songs" and "electrifying persona," Petra Jarrar is on the verge of taking the music scene by storm.
With an affliction for pop and a passion for rock n' roll, her first single, 'Glamour Girl' was released in July 2015. The song received critical acclaim, and was praised for its "edginess," while also being able to hone in a "ethereal and nostalgic vibe."
Petra has toured all over the world with headlining shows in New York (Webster Hall, Knitting Factory), Boston (Hard Rock Cafe @ the Cavern Club), Los Angeles (The Mint), Tokyo (Mona Records), and Osaka (Hard Rock at Universal City Walk, Kansai Music Festival). She has also been support for Drake Bell on his tour with High School Nation in Fall 2017, making appearances in Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee.
She has collaborated with brands such as D'Addario Strings, Evans Drumheads, Promark and Roland, who has provided her with top of the line equipment while touring in Japan. Petra also became a Guitar Center Artist in Summer 2017. Throughout their partnership, she has participated in a national advertising campaign, hosted a behind-the-scenes tour diary on Snapchat for her Nashville show with Drake Bell, and an Instagram Takeover for the inaugural Women That Rock show in April 2018, which brought in nearly 48.8k viewers.
Utilizing her platform as a musician, Petra uses her talents for various charitable and political work, actively working to help bring light to other females/femme and POCs in the industry. In April 2018, she partnered with Women That Rock on their inaugural show at Knitting Factory. She has also performed charity events for Mount Sinai Hospital to help raise funds for women’s sexual violence survivor’s unit. Furthermore, she has also performed charity events for Doctors without Borders, Habitat for Humanity, and UNICEF.
Petra will be releasing her debut album in 2019. Although she has already achieved so much, Petra is only getting started- so get ready.
